This book was produced to coincide with the exhibition 'Remember, remember: A history of fireworks in Britain' at Compton Verney, 15 October - 11 December 2011. Focusing primarily on the extraordinary power of firework packaging, posters and labels, this exhibition seeks to raise a glass to all those unsung heroes of design - both professional and untutored - who have helped to give the time surrounding November the fifth such keen visual delight.
